I got some from mothercare but found they never stayed on. I used his little socks instead!!

I found they never stayed on even though in hospital midwife dressed Patrick for me and put his mitts on before his baby grow so that the cuffs kept them on. That worked the once and never again. He could do with them now but his hands are always in his mouth and im scared of him choking on them. I got some from Boots and they were the best ones. x

Tbh I never bothered. I just kept her nails short and left her to it.

okay stupid question from first timer!!! i got some from asda but am not really sure why you need them? no-one I know ever used them on their babies but i was just in a buying stuff mood

I got bought a pack of these, haven't used them yet but did think they looked huge compared to some I had from another shop!

I just used socks.

In SCBU they have to wear them to stop them pulling out tubes etc, but the nurses say socks are better for staying on, scratchmits have to be taped on!

At home, keep nails short and they should be fine.

I only used them once coz they kept coming off and ours were from boots I think dont think Im gonna bother at all this time

We found that Alex always pulled his sratch mits off, but socks work really well and stay on much better

They are supposed to be used to stop the baby scratching themselves but I see them as a total waste of money and never bothered with them with my other 2.
Just keep their nails short and you should have no problems with scratches!
