I'm Currently Feeling:

Rosemary ???

Hi. Would it be safe to use rosemary products on my hair? I make this rosemary hair tea. I don't rub it in to my scalp, i just use it as a rinse. I wouldn't ask but my hair really seems to like it.

Is Rosemary a no-go when pregnant? I didn't know that.

Just did a quick google and a lot of sites are unsure about it. Some say it's 'quite unsafe' others say 'quite safe' and that's just about ingesting it!
Topical use hasn't been researched enough apparently

Sorry honeybunch, there's not much info out there about it.

Hey Honeybunch that's so cool, I use rosemary in my hair as well! We should switch recipes! Do you mix yours with some kind of oil? Anyways yeah I've been using it without a problem. I think the caution is only noted for those who digest large amounts of rosemary frequently.

No, I don't use any oil. I boil 1 or 2 tablespoons of rosemary per cup of water. Basically, I just make a tea for my hair.
