Double Buggy for newborn and toddler

I need help from you lovely bnb ladies
I need to buy a double buggy for my new bubs and my dd who will be just 3 i will only be using it to nursery and shopping when oh is at work.
I use the bus 4 times a day so would have to be lightweight and fit through the aisle on the bus.
I would prefer one where i could put baby in a carseat as if its prem it will be more snug than being swamped in there.
Dont want big graco ugly thing as used one before and i cant get on with them.
Cant spend loads as still want a main pram for when dd walks or if im with mum she can push dd in her buggy.
Can anyone help please???? I do like the jane twin but looks heavy and expensive xx

Hun i would say take a look at the phil & teds as it converts to a single buggy too! so when your eldest no longer needs it you can just use it as a single for baby.

I had one with my son and it was lovely

Edited to add: The Phil & Teds has a cocoon for newborns so they are all snuggly.. x

I have just been googling double pushchairs and TBH not alot of them have rear facing,

The First wheels twin city has but its a side by side
Bebe confort twin club is a single frame but seem hard to find!
Plus there is the new I Candy which i believe can be converted to a single!

Can't you let the 3 year old walk and use a buggy board/seat when they're tired?

Yep thats what i suggest as well, my son is just turning 3 next month and we don't use the double anymore, plus as he is growing any front/back pram will be extremely heaver with you toddler in
