I'm pretty sure the baby can still move during labour, they often turn to a more favorable position as the labour progresses.

when i was in labour first time all i felt was strong contractions i didnt feel baby move while i was having contractions but they use a monitor also sometimes so u may hear baby move aswell as heart beating
