getting sick and pregnant at the same time?

I figured Id post this here, since this deals with you ladies that are expecting...

I read somewhere that around the time of conception, the body's immune system is lower/weakened as to not attack the little embryo.

So Im wondering how many of you fell ill around the time of conception?

See took last active bcp on the 24th or 25th....no af yet. Just got out of the hospital for severe strep throat....just curious

I had strep throat when I got pregnant!!! I was on penicillin when it happened. Had to stop taking it when I found out.

hahaha you are joking right?


Ive been feeling under the weather for a few weeks, had some spotting (implantation bleeding?) on 2 sundays ago, and tonight I was just released from the hosptial with a sever case of strep!
