Baby monitors.... and sleep monitors...?

Hi ladies,

I have 2 questions:

1.) Can anyone recommend which baby monitor to buy? I wasn't planning on getting one with a video (unless this really is the way fwd...?)...

2.) I have no idea what they are called, but have read about a small device you clip to your babies nappy or undergarments that monitor their breathing and gently vibrates if breathing "stops" while they are sleeping. Anyone know what this device is called or which make is good...?

I've bought the Angelcare Monitor (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Angelcare-AC...0498821&sr=8-1) which comes with a sensor mat that monitors babys breathing and heart rate as well as being a sound monitor and thermometer!
