pregnant straight after mc query

Sorry if this is the wrong forum its difficult to know where to post this, i don't want to upset anyone.

Just wondering if anyone has had a healthy and successful pregnancy when conceiving straight after a mc. I'm not sure if i should wait for my first cycle or just go for it.

Anyone got any advice?

Hello, i didnt use precautions after my m/c @ 17wks but i was told to wait until i had one complete cycle, took me 2 cycles to concieve again.
Guess it depends in what you feel comfortable doing for me i felt trying right away helped me cope with the trauma etc etc

yes i have-he is now almost 11, and i had 3 more successul pregnancies after him too, of you feel happy to try again then you go for it!!

A few friends have had M/Cs. I think they said unless their doctors say not to try for a while, that it's fine

Well i just had a MMC 5 weeks ago and now am pregnant again !!!!!!!!!!

we decided not to wait and it defo must have been true about being more fertile.Its up to you and how you feel personally though i didnt want to wait to try again. Good luck to you

I had 2 Mc's in 3 months then caught with this one almost straight away while deciding on the advice from a doctor that i should wait a few months to give my body time to recover, personally i would try and wait at least 1 period as its soo upsetting and frustrating going right back to square one again, good luck hope you get your sticky bfp soon xxx

unless told otherwise, there really isn't a need to wait, the only problem you have if you get PG before you ahve a period is that they can't tell the dates properly, as I'm now finding out! Got a scan on wednesday to find out how far on I am

i had one period before i got pregnant again, but what they say is true, u r extremely fertile after.
