Really worried

Hey ladies bit of a rant,

Last time with my MMC I had a dating scan at 7w, then was due for another one at 12w, there was no reason for worry ect but was offered this straight away. This time after now having a MMC and having more worries this time to the extent im making myself sick over it I wont be allowed a scan until 12 weeks?! The other problem with this is how will I know when I am 12 weeks as ive not had an AF since my D&C. Im gutted and honestly dont think I can last another 6 weeks wondering if my babies dead and I've had another MMC. The midwife said that if im having symptoms everything is fine but i had symptoms all the way up to my D&C last time so thats of no help. Also she said that if I had cramp or bleeding to go to the EPU and ask for a scan, I didnt have any of this last time so again no help and I dont want to tempt fate and lie about having it. I'm in bits and dont know what to do xxxx

could you not get an early private scan? they do cost quite a bit, but worth it for reassurance.

xx

Wow, that's awful! I would have thought that (given you haven't had an af) you would have to get an early scan so they could try and date the pregnancy?!?! How do they know when the 12 weeks will fall?!?!?

Could you try discussing your concerns with your Dr and see if they could get you booked in, and bypass the midwife?

Hugs

K

Did they give you a date at all after your scan. At least you should feel a bit better and get your 12 weeks at the right time x
