Forget 1st Tri - this is my new home!!!

Hello Ladies!

I found out 2 days ago that I am expecting. I am absolutely thrilled, but at the same time - I am worried. Our first baby had a double set of chromosomes, and was deemed 'not compatible with life'. We said goodbye to him on the 24th July. I am aware that this is very unlikely to happen again. However, I suppose I am almost in denial that I am pregnant - I wont let myself get too excited, you know?

I am trying hard to stay positive though, and the girls who visit my journal have been fantastic. I'm taking each day as it comes. x x

I am so sorry!!! I do understand your fears! I had a m/c back in July, got pg exactly 3 months later and I was so hopeful that all will work out well. Instead, it ended up being an ectopic pregnancy that almost claimed my life.
I am currently in the waiting game and will be testing tomorrow so we will see, I do think I am pg but at the same time I am scared and freaking out - it's hard to keep up your spirits after multiple losses. When is your EDD? Sounds like a late november baby? We even might be due date buddies I am on DPO 12 today and my EDD would be around Nov 21 if I am indeed pg and if bean sticks (and sticks on the right place..)
Thinking of you!!!!! Hang in here..sending all the positive thoughts I can!

Hi Sazza,

I'm so sorry for your loss in July. I too lost a baby due to MMC in Dec 09 over the christmas period.

I'm also pregnant again just found out on tuesday and I'm scared to death, I've already been to the doctors and they offered me a reassurance scan which I have booked for when I'll be 7 weeks as the baby died at 6 weeks last time.

I'm hoping that everything will be ok this time round, and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you too!

xxx
