whens the earliest i will get a scan?

i got my bfp today and due to my irregular periods i dont know where i am.

Im hoping docs will get me in for early scans though, Whats the earliest they will get me in ?

Every Dr is different, I would voice your concerns...I had mine at 8 weeks (They wanted it for 7 weeks but couldn't get an appointment until 8 weeks)

i've heard some people even after a mc dont get one till 12 weeks.
i'm curious too, as i have a faint bfp, so i've got my fingers crossed, but i want at least one scan before 12 weeks if i am pregnant.

well as far as i know u wont get a scan until 12 weeks, however if u have a bleed or pains epu will scan u and maybe if u speak to ur doc and maybe tell him u are stressed and so on he may refer u but pretty sure u'd need to say u have had a bleed or pains to ensure a booking? hope that helps and congrats again!

i didnt get one after 1 loss. They said i had no more chance of another loss. Some places are nicer though, so hopefully your well. You wanna hold off till your around 7 weeks ish if you can get one. so a heartbeat is there. the last thing you want is a scan to early and having to wait longer.

It seems to very much depend on the area you live in. Try giving your EPU a call and see if you can refer yourself for an early scan.
