Hair falling out

So I know that your hair is supposed to fall out somewhat after pregnancy due to hormones blah blah, but how much? My hair is falling out so much I'm scared I'm going to be bald. I look at my pillow and it's covered, I find it all over the floor everywhere. I had a bath last night and when I got out, there was a ton of hair in the water. I even got my hair all chopped off because I figured it was easier to deal with short hairs everywhere than long ones. If I run my hand through my hair, it comes out with hairs all over it. I even find hairs on my baby!

So how much are the rest of you losing?

when your pregnant your hair cycle stops which means it stops falling out as much as before also your hair builds up more oils which make your hair shinyer so when you have a baby your cycle starts again which means all that hair has to come out mine is just getting back to normal and my little boy is 7 months old when i had a bath there was as much coming out as you would find on a brush after a month but its completely normal just start to panic when you find bold spots

Mine is falling out REALLY badly!!! In fact I have been really worried, its starting to go thin around my temples - I have spoken to a hairdresser who assures me its quite normal but it still hasn't stopped me freaking out when I run my hand through my hair and a handful comes out!!! x

The same thing happened to me after the girls were born. I really wasn't expecting how much hair was falling out! Everytime I took a shower i'd have to keep taking hair out of the catcher thing so the water could flow through! And I had hair everywhere too! Although I didn't mind seeing as I have really thick hair and hate it! But of course it grows back . . Lol

So its normal then? For how long?

I lost a TON of hair with my first. I cried in the shower almost every day. Once it gets out of its resting phase, you'll see- it'll grow in nicely!

Thank you so much everyone! I expected hair loss, I just didn't think it would be this much! I am starting to get bald spots at the temple area. I can't wait for it to be over!
