Thank you so much for everyones advice. Im taking it all in.
He slept a little better last night actually. I took him in the bath with me at 11.30pm then fed and changed him and he only settled at 2am which is a bit better for him. Then he woke again at 5, fed and changed him. Then he slept till 9.
It was a bit better than normal but its just that hes not settling till about 2am and Id really like him to be asleep a bit earlier.

I tried to get some cartons of the hungrier baby milk today but couldnt find them. Where are they sold?

I have another problem now too.. we live with OH's Mum and she keeps taking him off me!! Its driving me mad. Like the other day I was holding him and he started to cough so I sat him up and he threw up on me and she took him out of my arms and started to rub his back!!! Like i cant do it myself. And now shes just took him off me again. So Im just sat up here without my baby.

I went through the pain of labour to have my baby taken off me all the time.

xx

The Blue sma cartons you should be able to get from any tesco or asda or any big superstore with all the other tins of baby milk hun, failing that get a tin like the gold one you have and make it up like you are doing with the gold, as for oh's mum you need to politely tell her that its your baby and you need to learn and thats not going to happen if she keeps taking baby off you, hunni dont be walked over like you say you went through labour and its your baby, are you still thinking off moving in somewhere yourself?....

Just tell your mum that you can handle it. When she goes to take him off you, be firm and say you would rather handle it yourself. She'll soon realise that you can manage it and don't need her to interfere.nIt'll be hard, but she needs to learn.

Yeah unfortunately its gonna have to be the council route for me for now. Only untill i can get through Uni then when I earn enough to get a privately rented house I will. But I have to move out one way or another.

I got Leo those Blue cartons last night and I had the worst night with him ever. I bathed him then gave him his bottle (the hungrier baby milk) and he screamed from 9pm till 6am and fed every 3 hours! I had such an awful night last night. Nothing I did settled him.

xx

I'm afraid I can't offer any help to your last question but just wanted to check that you were OK. Council route sounds like best plan definately. If you can get your MIL to write a letter saying that she wants you out in x weeks then they will have to register you as homeless from that date so speeding things up for you, good luck with tonight.

Just a thought, is it maybe worth asking MIL if she could let you go to bed at 9pm and she bring the little fella in to you later on in the evening just to try and grab a bit of recharge for yourself? I know its a bit like going against what you really want but just think of it as a one off emergenct measure.

Id stick to one or the other hunn as you will confuse his little system try the blue for a few days let him and his system get used to it as the blue as i said before is casien based and stays in the tummy longer takes longer to break down making them feel fuller for longer, i dont want to sound patronising but make sure you wind him well and go from there, hope this helps hunn.....
