Killer Boob Sydrome

How long will this "Killer Boob Sydrome" last? Esp for the mummies that FF?

They are sooo tender, ive finally got my body back and now these things hit me all of a sudden like POW. I cant not wear a bra for longer than an hour because i feel like im carrying an extra stone on my chest

Oh god you poor thing!! Mine were fine. Mine started hurting on day 4, I leaked a few drops and then the pain was gone within 2 days. And they didnt even hurt that bad at all! I think I was lucky. (Im FFing btw). But you should really wear a supportive bra for as long as you can. It really helped me.

xx

Oh bless you! Try massaging them a bit in a hot shower or into a sink of warm water just to express enough milk to make them slightly more comfortable. Savoy cabbage leaves chilled in the fridge, scored with a knife and then put inside your bra are amazing too. I don't think the pain lasts more than a few days (bit clueless as I'm bfing, sorry)

Hope it gets better for you soon x

if ur not brest feeding then dont massage them hun as all u wil be doing is stimulating them in turn creating more milk therfor they will take longer to dry up...mine lasted about 3 days or soreness but it will do providing u dont release ya milk u have to let em dry up i no its horrible lol xx

Expressing just a tiny bit to make you more comfortable is ok - I didn't mean express enough to feed a baby with x

I'm actually not sure, but when you first give birth your body just automatically produces milk - which is why most people get engorged even if you never breastfeed. After a few days you start producing what you need depending on how much your baby is feeding, but expressing a tiny bit just so they're not too painful shouldn't make a huge difference - most people leak a bit when they get unbearably full anyway, so everyone will lose a bit of milk while they wait for it to dry up...I think! x

The shower just makes them leak (or did for me). It only lasted 3 days for me. Mine were HUGE, they looked deformed. I was already a F cup before I even had her. I freaked out when my milk came in

I wore 2 sports bras at once for extra support. It does go away!!

They were like that for a week for me.I didn't attempt to BF so I just wore gel packs and warm cloths or towels. Some people recommend cabbage for soreness?
