Hi hun, I can relate ti this! I have problems keeping weight on. I have been so paranoid about it, that I have literally been forcing myself to eat. The first week, I was so shell shocked that I felt sick all the time. But OH made meals, so I ate them. One day I was literally gagging while eating, but I was so upset that I might loose weight that I did it anyway (I am now 11 1/2 stone and 6ft tall - I used to weigh 8 stone!!!) I lost a little weight during pregnancy, but not since.
You really need to look after yourself and make sure you eat. My OH makes my lunch when he does his forwork and leaves it in the fridge for m. At least that way, I can grab it on the run. We also then have a proper meal in the evening - he wouldn't let me go to bed without one.
Can you talk to your OH about it get him to be strict with you. I know it's difficult to eat when you're not hungry, but I think this is the only way. You also need to keep your nutrients up if you're breastfeeding (not sure if you are or not). PM me if you want hun - we can do this together!!
Sorry if I'm rambling - breastfeeding at the moment - while trying to concentrate AND type one handed!!!

I went through about the first 6 weeks barely eating a thing. Stress, tired and all but I eventually got my appetite back. Until LO was about 8 weeks old I didn't even realize how little I was eating. You will likely get your appetite back shortly

I am already 40lbs less than my pre-preg weight. My pre pregnancy clothes are waaaay to big... infact I have gotten rid of them. It's not from not eating, or even eating healthy, sure I dont eat as much as I dod while I was pregnant, but I still eat normal meals, and I don't excersise. My Mom and my brother both used to be chubby, and then when they got to my age they both just slimmed right down, now my brothers average and my Mom is teeny. I hope this is whats happening with me. Although neither of them have had nearly as much of a weight problem as me.

Hey Chick!!! Cant quite believe we're on the 'other side' and in post natal forums now!!

Wanted to post and say I'm in similar boat to you and xxxKatXXX, since having Gracie I barley have an appetite and find myself focing myself to eat what oH has made. Not sure if it's shell shock still, or what, but I'm breastfeeding at the moment and worried to death Gracie wont be getting as much goodness as she should because of it!!! I was underweight when I fell pregnant, and hoping not to go back to that. People said I looked so much healthier with pregnancy weight piling on! These posts must sound ridiculous to most people because it's normally the other way around!!!!

XXX

I didn't eat properly for the first good 2 weeks that Eleanor was born, just didn't feel hungry, but slowly I have found my self returning to normal, although I do have to make time to stop and eat otherwise I find my self having lunch at 3pm. xx
