baby weight

bubsy is now 4 weeks and weighs 8Ib 7 oz. just wondering what everyone else's baby weighs/ed at 4 weeks as everyone keeps telling me how tiny h
Hermione is. they are making me paranoid that something is wrong.

It all depends on how big she was when she was born hun, try not to worry. My baby was prem so he was a lot smaller at 4 weeks, he's still a lot smaller at 9 weeks so don't worry hun. Every baby is different.

at 4 weeks Emilia was 8lbs 12 and, the same as you, every one keeps telling me how small she is! As long as the HV doesn't seem concerned I wouldn't worry too much

at 4 weeks jacob was 10lb 12oz!! but he weighted just below that at birth

Agree with the others, it really depends on what your baby weighed at birth as to how much weight he/she should have put on by now. Hannah weighed almost 10 pounds at 4 weeks, but she was 8 pounds 10 ounces at birth

Morgan was 7lb 8oz when she was born.... and at 4 weeks she was 8lb 9oz.

So Hermione sounds perfectly fine to me!!

All babes gain weight at different rates, no two babies are the same! (I've learned that when looking on here at babes that were the same birth-weight as Morgan!!)

As long as she's happy and healthy and gaining weight (not losing loads!), that's all that's important!

People keep telling me Elliot is small too-one person even asked if he was premature, but no he's just a small baby i guess. Hes doing well for him, so will not worry what others say.

ali was a teeny 5ibs 3ozs at birth and at 4 weeks he was just under 8ibs. depends on their birth weight - all bubbas are different (but all precious and gorgeous regardless of weight).

dont worry hun - your baby is doing just fine.
