bleeding after having baby


how long after having the baby does it take for your period to stop? its just i have had a period now for 6 weeks!!
i have been taking my pill as this should stop it but its not worked

Hey hun im not sure if everyone is different but i was bleeding for nearly over 2months...it slowed down towards the end but felt like it was everlasting....xx

I'm STILL bleeding and it's almost 9 weeks since I've had Kaida.

oh god, at least i'm not the only one then! its just with my first it was only about 2 weeks!

my gosh

my friend was only 2 weeks!!! mine has def slowed down but another 7 weeks is NOT appealing!! Ive got bloody thrush as well .... sanitory towels are not nice!!

It's not a period, so the pill isn't going to stop it. It's the leftover lochia from having the baby. It's the wound from where the uterus was that's still bleeding. I bled for over 7 weeks.

Mine in the past has gone away in 3-4 weeks. Hope it will be the same this time around as I hate it! I am not a "pad" person either. LOL

I bleed (not red bleeding the entire time but still had to wear a pad) for 5 and a half weeks, and once that ended I got my period
