I'm Currently Feeling: | PND wouldn't necessarily mean you'd feel that way all the time - people diagnosed with depression can still have good days. Is there anything different about the days when you do feel fine? x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Its strange, some days il wake up and feel happy, I see my baby girl smiling at me and it hits me how lucky I am but then if one thing happens, no matter how small, it gets to me then I end up feeling like crap for the rest of the day and having these thoughts |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I really do think it would be worth talking to your HV. You obviously want the very best for your little girl and if it is PND you'll be able to get treatment for it. Most mums who do have it don't even realise, as everything changes so much when you have a baby anyway x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi, i know how you feel. I sometimes have days where i feel like getting in my car and driving forever!!
I always feel worse if i haven't had much sleep, which is probably one of the reasons you don't feel great.
I just try and get out as much as i can even if its just pottering around outside with my son.
I'm lucky that my OH is at home every night though to help out.
Try to stay positive and keep busy. We are all here for you. xx
Will be thinking of you tomorrow xx |

| It does sound very like depression hun. You've been thru so much with the SPD and now everything else.
I have been battling with depression lately, it may have been post natal/ hormone related that I treid to ignore I don't know.
I had to go home from work one day as burst into tears & couldn't stop.
As you say some days I'd feel fine, but then something would go wrong, could be totally insignificant, something that normally I'd cope with and I'd get really upset.
Other days I'd just feel really awful, just down & teary.
At my worst I'd feel that my family would be better off without me, they don't me in tears, moody & uptight.
Having been signed off for a second time I decided to try St John's Wort, it seems to have helped, but have also been offered new job too.
At times I feel OH doesn't understand & just leaves me to sort my self out.
I would try and see a different GP as it does sound like PND to me, BUT i am no expert. I hope my ramblings help. You are not alone. There are plenty of ppl here to talk to. Sometimes talking helps.
You are a brilliant mum, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Please speak to someone else though that GP was bang out of order.
Hope you feel better soon. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think the lack of sleep has a lot to do with how you feel. I know when I'm really exhausted I struggle to even get up to feed my little one and I resent the fact that I have to do it. I had that feeling. Then if I get a good nights sleep, its suddenly a pleasure to look after him again!
I hope you manage to feel better soon. I'd definitely suggest trying a different doc though! |
