Tampons

Got my first AF yesterday. I didn't have a vaginal birth. Is it okay to wear tampons? I cannot for the love of it wear towels for any longer, it is so gross, i hate it with a passion but am afraid to use tampons. Did anyone wear tampons this soon?

xxx

Used them with my first period think it was 5 weeks. I was scared but it was perfectly fine and was so much more comfortable than wearing pads!

One of the mw's in the hospital told me that if I was still bleeding 10 days after my c section, I was okay to switch to tampons. I wasn't, but then started using them as normal on my first AF.

If you're worried, have you thought about a mooncup hun? I'm a convert and have used it for the past 3 or 4 cycles. I'd never go back to tampons again.

the idea of the mooncup kinda grosses me out... what do you do when you're out in public? just wash it out anyway? i may try it though, it might not be as bad as i imagine

My post birth bleeding stopped about 4 weeks after birth and my period started at almost 6 weeks... so woop a 2 week break. Period bleeding is different to the post birth bleeding though so i know that its different... if you know what i mean.

Not sure what AF stands for... just got the impression it meant Period

AF = Aunt Flow (i think!) AKA your period. My OB said 6 weeks and I had a planned C. (barely dilated)
