First Period After Baby - Really Heavy!

Hi Girls, I started my first period since having Louis on Saturday and it's been really really heavy, it's just started to slow down now but I feel totally drained and worn out, I'm probably low on iron or something..

I am on wafrain which thin my blood so that doesn't help, but I was just wondering if it's normal that the first one is really heavy because I used to have really light periods that only lasted about 3 days..

I haven't had my period yet, but I remember hearing other girls stories about having really heavy first periods but because you are on blood thinners I would watch how fast your filling up a pad.

My first period was awful, I bled so much I had to change heavy flow tampons every hour! It also leaked through my shorts. Was def the worse period of my life! I'm like you, I use to bleed very light and for only 2-3 days.

My doctor suggested that I don't stop in between my pack of pills.

Mine was surprisingly light, and prior to Mia I had the worst bleeds/cramps.
