Eclampsia

So, sorry I haven't been around in a few days. The docs thought I had a spinal headache so I went in Monday for a bloodpatch and ended up having two seizures. Turns out I have eclampsia. My doc said in 21 years I'm only the second case he's ever seen of it. It's really high BP after delivery that causes convulsions. I was at the hospital when I had them thank goodness . My poor DH was freaking out. I don't remember much from Monday except going to the hospital and then waking up there that night. They let me come home yesterday afternoon, but I'm still pretty dizzy/fuzzy feeling. I can't really eat cause I bit down on my tongue wicked hard during the seizures . My Mom has been here all week taking care of me and Charlotte. She is doing really well, I can't breastfeed cause of the antibiotics they have me on, but she's on formula. She's up to sleeping about 4 hours straight already! I hope all of y'all are doing well!

Thanks y'all. My BP has been getting checked really often, went up to 170/95 so the docs decided to put me on bp meds for two months to see if that helps. I also got put on bed rest for a week. My Mom has to leave today, so we'll see how that goes! Baby is doing well still though! Hope all is still well with y'all!
