For new mommies out there.

For all the new mommies out there, are you back to your pre-pregnancy weight (or body) or pretty close? Also, how long did it take for you to get there? I am curious about how long it will take to get back to where I was after the baby is born. I desperately want to fit back into my old clothes again (after the baby is born of course), maybe even get thinner than I was.

I'm sorry, but this is one big worry of mine. I'm so tired of being big. I wasn't skinny when I started but I wasn't over weight, I had a belly but was still healthy (if that even makes sense).

Mia will be 3 weeks old tomorrow, and so far I have lost 1/3 of the weight I gained.

I hope I can lose at least 20 more by August.

Last time a checked I lost 15 pounds but that was awhile ago. I think the weight will come off slowly after your first initial drop in weight until you can work out, which is 6 weeks or so.

Lost 27 lbs in 2 weeks, then nothing... I fit in all my pre-pregnancy shirts/tops etc but I'm nowhere near fitting into my pre-pregnancy jeans/pants/skirts etc. I can't even lift them up pass my mid-thighs. Most of the weight I gained is located in my thighs and my butt... Got JLO's butt now !

I'm hoping to lose the rest of the weight by july-august, I think I'm too ambitious...

Knowing my luck, I will probably be one of those people who will need to work at it more. Always have in the past anyways.

Thanks for replying ladies and I'm sure you all look great, we criticize ourselves worse than anyone. Good luck on meeting your goals and congrats on your little ones.

12 days after Hannah was born I was able to get back into my pre-pregnancy jeans. I still have some loose skin round my belly but hope to start working on that after my 6 week check up

I lost all but 10lbs within the first 3 weeks. I still have the extra 10lbs now.
