heavy bleeding? TMI warning

I started on the pill 2 weeks ago after not being able to have a IUS.

I was wondering if this was normal after childbirth?

all weekend I have been bleeding. I have been having terrible cramps and today they have been crippling. Today I have bled so much I have had to change my jeans. Whats more I have been passing massive clots.

I wasn't expecting to bleed until on my break?

What's your experiences of this after having your LO's?

Thanks girls

I'd call your GP or NHS direct for advice. I do remember being on one pill a few years ago that made me bleed before I had finished the packet - it is something to do with the hormone levels I think. I'd definitely get checked over though if you are bleeding that heavily
