Cracked skin & irritation

My son has some cracked skin around his testies and his anus... His bum is also very red, I used some penaten cream, zincofax and vaseline and nothing seems to work for the healing. I don't use the baby wipes anymore, just a warm wet cloth.

I'm getting worried now as its not getting any better and it looks awful. He must be in such pain...

Anyone experienced that ? Any tips?

My MW swears by Weleda baby cream. Might give it a try love. Poor little bottom.

Try switching the brand of diapers.

I've heard Bordreaux Butt Paste is good, and one by a Dr.... cant remember the name off-hand (but will post later).

(Dr. Smith is the name of the other diaper cream...)

You can try just putting him on a layer of towels and just letting him not have a diaper too. That's what I did with DD quite a bit when she'd get rashy down there.
