Another question about bleeding

Hi ladies. I have a question about bleeding. I bled kinda heavy for the 4 days in the hospital after having Erica. Then it seemed to pretty much stop until about a week ago. It was pretty light, but yesterday suddenly it got really heavy. I'm filling up pads quite often. I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this, like it getting really heavy randomly.

Also, for you c-section mommy's, if you had a planned section and never dilated, were you able to use tampons? I can not stand pads, and I figured since nothing ever went on down there, maybe I could use tampons? Sorry if TMI! Thanks ladies!
