i had one period and it lasted a week about 6-7 weeks after giving birth and it wasnt too bad but then i got a second one a week and a half later and it was awful really heavy but it only lasted 4 days.so i think its perfectly normal.

I had Oliver June 2009, had my first period in the August but wasn't heavy and only lasted a couple of days. I then went without a period until this January, doctor said it was because I was run down. It lasted for 10 days and was awful. I would'nt worry too much hunny

New here

I had periods every 10 day for a few months, along with extreme fatigue and part depression after my son was six months, sure enough I had an underactive thryoid problem. Easily solved with medication that is safe even when I concieve again. So even is worst is worst its still not that bad.
