first period and depo injection.

ok,i started my period 12days ago...and im still bleeding bright red blood!!
is this normal?

i feel like im gonna bleed forever!!
i had the depo injection 3 weeks ago,and when i was on it before i was pregnant,i never bled!!
do i go see the doc?thanks!

i bled for weeks and weeks when I first went on depo and after asking friends etc discovered this is quite common so if this is your first time on it I wouldn't worry but if you've had it before and not reacted this way I check with your GP

Yeah I have it and bled for about a week but the doc says it's normal to have a bit of bleeding in the beginning x

I had depo for the first time 3weeks ago. 11 days ago I started bleeding heavily and still am, so experiancing the same as you. I was concerned and made a similar post but was reassured by the lovely pheobe also! My doc told me I 'might experiance spotting' hence my concern, but to know others have experienced this has put my mind at ease. I'm going to check with the nurse at kaidens jabs on thurs.
