Another bleeding question

This is my first baby so no idea on what is normal. My bleeding had stopped by about day 12, I then just had the yellow ish discharge which had also stopped sometime during the 3rd week. I then went to a postnatal aqua class thurs (4+1 since birth). Since then I have been bleeding again. Is this because I exercised too soon and it has shaken out the last few bits? It started brown so I assumed old blood, but is now bright red so I don't know what to think.

if it is bright red it's probably your Af..

i dont breasfeed and my periods came back pretty fast..i bled brown for a week after the birth or so then on and off and then nothing for couples days...then i start to bleed red for 4 days or 5 straight and that was Af for sure

Damm, I hoped AF wouldn't return so quickly with the breastfeeding, I did wonder if it was It just isn't like my normal AF, although I guess it all changes after having a baby.

It was because it started after exercise I thought it might be my body saying I'd done too much too soon (the best I could come up with from google)

No mucus with it, oh well time will tell what it is. I will feel cheated if AF has returned so soon, I was hoping for at least another 3 or 4 months free of her.

I had this and it wasn't AF - I am exclusively BF. Mine had gone down to just a pale browm discharge and then at just over 2 weeks it came back quite heavy and bright red like a period. My HV and my doctor both said i won't be AF that son if you are BF but it os common for bleeding to return if you do too much which woulf fit in with your exercise class. Mine lasted about another 2 weeks after that, gradullay getting lighter. Now my LO is 7 weeks and it has been gone for about a week and a half.
