Ive wondered this too! my HV kept going on about it. Think she meant stuff like heavy lifting, anything that might put stress on the wound etc.

Congrats by the way!

yeah its been tough with the recovery and then being readmitted. lol. hubby back at work so things seem a little less stressed??? if thats the right thing to say. its just me concentrating on her rather than the 2 of us panicking over if she is crying cause she hungry or just has a wet bum lmao.
hubby has been gr8 tho. i wouldnt wanna spend time with me atm. im such a cry baby lol. baby blues hit me hard and im making a slow recovery from that too but we getting there. u have to just laugh through the tough times or u go in sane.

I was told no vacuuming, driving, lifting, filling/emptying the dishwasher or washing machine, pushing the pram I've found I can push the pram and vacuum a small area but lots of bending, twisting, lifting or carrying hurts a lot afterwards. Hope this helps.

I guess it all depends on you. I was told not to anything but care for the baby for 4 weeks. But, because I can't stand to have people wait on me hand and foot, I was do laundry and other house work after 2 weeks.

Like I said it depends on you and how well you heal. Of course don't be going out and running up and down the road or anything.

Its up to you...if you feel sore, over tired or in pain you are doing too much.

I knew I'd done too much one day as my body told me...Changing a duvet cover and putting rubbish in the wheelie bin made things hurt!
