Blood Loss Question?

I'm on day 15 now and still bleeding, is this normal? How long should it last roughly?

I've just had my first baby so i've NO idea whatsoever

Up to 6 weeks usually. Sorry!

It does tend to be heavier with your first baby and if you had a vaginal birth.

And no doubt as soon as it stops you get a period.

Sometime sit will tail off at 2 weeks and spot on and off again for another few weeks.

its pretty normal to be bleeding stil

i know what u mean about not knowing! i read all over the internet the red blood is ment to stop after 4th day! and im still getting it heavy on and off now so i went to the docs and she said its totally normal and to go bak if im still bleeding heavy 4 weeks after the birth

if ur breastfeeding too u will bleed more and if u over do it so make sure u dont lift anything

My DD is 11 days old and I'm still bleeding (red). I bled with my elder 3 for about 4 weeks.

Hiya i had an emergency c sec and am still bleeding 3weeks plus 1 later.

Our babies were born on the same day and im still bleeding too. Really really light but just wish it would stop!

Mine had tailed offf after two weeks and gone into brown discharge, then came back again really heavy and bright red! I went straight to the docs and was told this is normal and can happen once you become more active. My LO is 5 weeks old and only now has my bleeding almost stopped.
