Have my hips spread forever?

Have my hips spread forever?

Earl is nearly 3 months old and in most ways I'm back to normal. Apart from one thing.....my hips are massive.

I didn't put on a lot of weight (probably could do with shedding about half a stone but some of that is because of Christmas lol)

My issue is I haveno clothes that fir around my hips. On my bum, legs and waist it's fine, but my hips have gone up by 8cm from my previous measurements and I know the bones have shifted as the clothes that do fit it digs in and bruises on the bones. Thing is - I'm a size 12 but size 14's swamp me.......Will they go back or am I going to have to learn to take clothes in to my shape, and quickly.

I'm going to try to lose some weight....have a specific dress to get into by June for a wedding, but until then.....what the hell will I wear?

My hips are definitely wider - LO is 14 months old now so I think my days of fitting in to size 12's are long gone!

Oh No!

Looks like I'm going to have to adopt a Kirsty Alsopp style wardrobe of A line skirts and Palazzo pants! lol

I was a size 10/12 before I got pregnant and my hips were fairly big then. They're massive now and don't think they'll go back, so I'm stuck between sizes 12 (too tight) and 14 (too loose)....

Kirsty Alsopp wardrobe for me too

Oh bugger, my hips were wide enough to begin with! I don't think mine have altered?!? I have always had to have size 16 trousers simply because the tops are not wide enough but I have to wear a belt with them too to keep them up

My cousin is super skinny, always has been and she seems to have retained her slim figure the lucky mare, she always is like that . . . so maybe there is hope?
