I wouldn't call 3 times a day heavy, unless they're soaked?

For me it was never very heavy, stopped spotting etc. at about 4 weeks. I had a normal delivery.

I'm currently 5 and a half weeks post birth (vaginal but with my waters broken for me) and I'm still bleeding. It began quite heavy (although not as bad as I had expected), then after a few weeks slowed down alot, but in the last week or so, it has come back heavier again!!

Really want it to stop now!!

As has already been said, it varies from woman to woman. I bled for about 4-5 weeks and had a vaginal delivery. I got my period when Evie was 6 weeks old and it was horrendously heavy!! It was normal length (5 days) and the heavy bleeding only lasted about 3 days

Waters broken at 5/6cm

Emergency section

Still bleeding...boo.

But its light and its gone brown now -I do wish it would stop I am SICK of wearing pads, especially as I'm still in trackie bottoms mostly coz of the section and I'm paranoid you can see the pad even though I'm on thin sanitary towels now.

I just want to wear knickers again and feel a bit fresher down there!

I had a planned c-section, so my waters never broke, but I only bled heavily for 4 days and spotted for about 2 weeks.
