try ibuprofen for pain relief, its also an anti inflammatory.

I second the witch hazel. I used those pads immediately after leaving the hospital and after about 5 days I didn't feel anything anymore.

awwwww, I can understand why you two would want to have some intimacy before he left! When i was in the hospital the best was the frozed 'padsicles'. jsut get a pad wet and put it in your freezer and then sit on that, it was very soothing. I also have lavender baths so i think lavender would help, you can get it in drop form. Hope you are feeling better!

it still hurts but i called the labor & delivery ward and they said i could come in tomorrow but knowing them i'll get there and they'll say they don't accept walk-ins lol
