Could I feel any more attractive at the moment??!!

I mean really - after 9 months of sickness, stretch marks and the like, I though post pregnancy might be a little more self-esteem friendly - oh how wrong I was. Just a few things to add to the general levels of joy:

A smell of milk at all times (and going in the shower being a military pursuit)

Sitting there with breasts out, expressing like I'm in a dairy

Flabby tummy - stretchmarks ahoy

crying at random things - so red faced and puffy throughout the day

swollen ankles and feet

The lovely stockings to be worn post c section

Constantly feeling so knackered it's like I've got permanent jet lag!

It really is a pleasure!! I keep thinking it's nature's way of ensuring I don't get pg too soon - there's no way DH is going anywhere near me like this!!

Is anyone else out there feeling too damn attractive! Any other post pregnany occurrences which deserve a mention on this thread?

It's a good job my little girl is so gorgeous - she's worth it!

looooooooooool. After 2 months, I still feel the same. FAT, FAT, FAT. I have a binder wrapped on my abdomen to move this horrible skin from my CS scar. I cant wear any proper shoes as my feet r still swollen, I am always wearing my OH shirts & pjs.

I only have one pants in black that fits (bought them after my delivery). I cant even wear my maternity pants anymore as they r all low waist & hurt my scar badly.

My pale skin is now patched with dark spots, & my face is covered with freckles..

The funny thing is, I didnt have stretch marks on my tummy but on my shoulders..

I have two deep lines on my neck & a double chin..

I feel sooo attractive now, I can go on & on ... lol

Omg yes I feel soooooooooooooooo attractive too-not!! I actually lost weight whilst pregnant and yet my stomach and even a bit of my back is so flabby after??? I feel so frumpy and old..thought a new baby might help me feel a bit younger (I'm 38) but the tiredness and constant aching arms and back make me feel about 70!!!

I didnt have any back pain during my pregnancy, I passed my due date by 10 days, & I was standing on my feet 10 mins before they decided to go for CS after 20 hrs of inducing.

Now I can't even walk properly, & when I hold my LO I'm always sore, & the back pain is killing me. yeah, I feel 70 too.

The even worse news is that the saggy tummy and stretch marks are still there at 11 weeks.

I got stretchmarks EVERYWHERE whilst pregnant, still 2st heavier than before I started. Thankfully can keep boobs away since abandoning breastfeeding. Downside is I now fail the pen test, and have been getting delightful spots underneath from wearing unsupportive maternity/nursing bras. Hoping for improvement now I'd bought half the contents of the debenhams bra sale - 4 for £23, can't complain. Maybe I could get a female version of Gary Linekers hot body suit to wear under my new sexy bras??

Lol Yep, they don't warn you about this stuff!

  • Lovely Mummy tummy, 40 sit ups a day (new years resolution) and still it's there!
  • I am FF now but when I was BF ~ big leaky patches over the bedsheet's and OH being freaked he just rolled onto my boob juice!
  • My spots came back the joy, the kind that go big and red and last for days
  • Wearing sick as a new accessory
  • Wearing my scrappy reserve clothes when the nice ones are covered in sick, the ones that have shrunk in the wash kind of thing!
  • Only just stopping bleeding, so I made up for the lack of AF over 9 months, cheers!

It will get better and she is more than worth it though!
