Grrrrrr leaking!

So im breastfeeding, and have brought the breast pads, have used asda's and sainsbury's and finding that even with those in plave and bra's on my tops are wet through and at night my tops are sodden, the bedsheets and duvet can easily be rung out like a cloth i leak so much milk.
Im getting a little annoyed laying wet through at night and wondered what anybody else uses or recommends to try and soak up the leakage before it gets to this point.
Last night i slept with a flannel in my top over each boob and within an hour they were sodden.
Thanks ladies

Wow, that sounds quit excessive. In the beginning and still sometimes now there are big leaks. It will settle down. How long have you been BFing?

Since he was born two weeks ago. I started leaking very early though tbh. Little bits started leaking through when i was 27 weeks pregnant.

At night I used to stuff the thick cloth nappy inners in my bra as they can soak up ALOT of liquid!

I leak almost that much and im not even BF, and shes over a month old! I just seem to be going thru breast pads and tops like nothing on earth, Good idea about using nappy inners, you could also just cut up an old towel and try that they might be more absorbant than the breast pads, other than that im not sure, im still looking for a soloution!

Hi,

I use Johnsons breast pads as they seem to be the best i've found, but every so often at night i sleep topless with a towel folded up underneath just to get a break from waking up with wet material clinging to me!

boots ultra slim own brand ones, or tommee tippee and the lansinoh ones- all similar, all very good. I slept with a bra with these in for months. As Finns feeding decreased, so did the leakiness so I don't wear pads now. But it was bloody annoying for a while!
