huge blood clot, should i be worried?

I just passed something as i was washing the pots that i knew didnt feel right, i ran to the loo and there was a huge blood clot - about 5 inches in diameter - looked like a mini placenta.... should i be worried? my mw mentioned something about blood clots the other day and i was in cuckoo land somewhere and dont know what she said about them!

This happened to me several times....I ended up heamoraging twice and had to be taken to hospital via ambulance and have a D n C for retained products...
If it happens again I reccomend asking for a scan.
hope everything is ok for you though!
