Aaaahh!! When will my hair stop falling out?!

This is driving me INSANE!!!

Everytime I brush my hair it looks as though someone has shaved a dog and left the hair everywhere! Honestly its sooooo bad! Theres hairs in the fridge, in the freezer, in our dinners, in Brandons nappies...EVERYWHERE!!

When does it stop?! I had Brandon 5 months ago, I thought it would've been over by now! x x x

I can't help, as LO only 4 weeks, but just wanted to say it is very reassuring that at some point you do once again get the time to brush hair!!!! Hope it rectifies itself soon!!

I have had to change my hair style, i had long hair and when i was pregnant it was so full and nice, when i lost so much hair after he was lank so i've now changed it to a bob. I keep finding my hair in Izzy's hand, on the floor, all over tops- very annoying!

My only advise is to get your hair cut...It worked for me..I could not figure out why mine was falling out after I had my little one, and finally got it chopped. It stopped...

I was going to post about this today! What's weird is that mine has only really just started falling out?! Don't get it.

Luckily I am blessed with quite thick hair: although if it carries on like this it won't be thick for long, it's coming out in spades! I don't like it, baldness scares me! lol

To be honest, despite the fact that i have my hair long again after cutting it super short a couple of years ago, I would cut it into a shorter style if it really started to suffer

This is driving me mad, my hair is everywhere, esp in my lo's cot and in his hands!! I thought that going on the pill might help things but not yet.

Thinking of getting my hair cut!!

Very hard to diagnose any problems but the simplest one is that your body is dealing with the trauma of child birth. It shuts down other areas of the body such as hair growth and nail growth.

If you have long hair there is more pressure on the hair folicles and so it releases the hair sooner than it is supposed to, as above i had long hair and had it cut short and the hair loss is minimal now.

Hope it gets better for you

Sam

I dont want to cut my hair I did keriatin hair treatment after delivery & I'm using castor oil +vatika oil (indian & smells soooooo bad) to prevent it from falling. My hair stylist recomended it (worth trying if u dont want to cut ur hair)

the abundance of oestrogen during pregnancy gives us lush locks, after birth the depletion of this can cause hair loss,as can the sometimes very stressfull first few months of bringing up bubba
