Help! exercising after c-section


I delivered 8 wks back. I am using a binder & my body is stiff & really hurting. I have added extra 10 kgs because of pregnancy & now I am struggling with the excess weight. I am not breast feeding so I started taking some fat burners, but I really want to workout. can I start now?

i think you can exercise after your 6 week check up, did you get the all clear then? I had a c-section too and im plannning to start exercising after 6 weeks

I went for a checkup around 4 wks after delivery, and I 've been told that everything is ok & I dont need to come back on my 6th week. what kind of exercise is ok? just moderate cardio? or can I hit the gym?

I also had a c section and plan on going to the gym. midwife has said it is fine after my 6 wk check aslong as it is gradual

I also delivered 8 weeks ago via emergancy c-section. I started exercising last week. Went to the postnatal exercise class in the hospital and we did sit-ups and things which I was surprised at as my mw told me it would be 3 months before id be able to go running and do gymnastics again. Id assume you'd be fine to exercise now, i'm just starting off slowly and going to build up from there as I have quite a lot of baby weight lose!
