i know people who the implant works wonderfully for, i did get depression while on it but it something i have stuggled with after too so dont think its due to that, though it may have had some effect.

Other than that it suited really well, and if you are considering more children in the future then for me as soon as it was taken out i was fertile and conceived the first month of trying! I would consider using it again however we are planning on having the next one quite close so dont see the point of having it in for 5 months or less!

It works for some and not for others, i found it really conveinet as i am hopeless at remembering to take anything, so was brilliant cos it meant i didnt have to think about contraception at all for 3 years!

thanks for the replies i got the nuvaring but dont like it think il give the implant a try alright.it seems the handiest really to just forget about it and not worry about pills.

also dont think the mood swings could be any worse then when i was pregnant i was awful
