What is that pain down there?? Sorry if TMI

Soooo ladies this is a bit embarrasing but I've been having this weird pain for a week or so now and I'm hoping others experienced it, or have an explanation!!

Every time I pee, stand up, lie on my belly (or to be honest just randomly!!) I get an intense pressure down there, right at the front where my clit is (sorta where the hair grows) sorry for TMI.

It sometimes stops me dead in my tracks and I have to put my hand there and push to stop the pain. I was thinking it could just be extra blood flow, but if it is how long will it last??!!

I'm not going out much at the moment but when I do venture out I don't want to have to stop and put my hand between my legs in the street!!!

Any ideas??

I shouldve said too that I had an episiotomy and 2nd degree tear. The stitches are healing nicely though.

boomerslady...i officially love you lol i had the exact same thing right down to a tee!!! and its really uncomfortable and quite sore! i also had episiotomy! i thought it was a urine infection because i had trouble peeing as well! thought i was going mad as well lol i spoke to community midwife and she completly stressed the importance of properly doing my pelvic floor exercises and it has helped loads! 3 times a day 5 times and count to 5 each time! i wasnt doing them properly though you could be doing yours i would say to hv though as could be something else i still get it every now and then but its basically stopped and improved loads!

Lol sweetlullaby I offically love you too!!!!

I'm sooooo glad someone knows what I'm on about, I was really starting to worry! I started doing loads of pelvic floors about 2 days ago, I try and do them constantly while I feed Ben. I'm gonna google how to do them, just in case I am doing them wrong!!

Purple, I only met my HV for the first time yesterday and she seemed really prude! I couldn't just randomly start talking about it! I'm expecting a call tomorrow from the MW to see how my pre eclamsia is clearing up, so I'll ask her, it's always easier over the phone!

Hey! Had this too, the only way I could describe it was intense pressure, or similar to the let down feeling you get in your boobs, only down there! I asked my mw but she wasn't sure, said could be nerve damage?? Didn't seem too concerned though. But the good news is I'm 8weeks post partum and have not felt it for a week or more, and it gradually got better and less often as the weeks went by

I get this too!! Didnt really know how to explain it n also not mentioned it to a pro! The pushing does help when its there doesnt it, its such a weird thing! Would like to mention I also had 2nd degree tear, and grazes nearer the front, so must be somethin to do with the damage labour causes. I have found it has slightly eased recently, but i dont really do my exercises as much as I should. If u do find any answers tho, I will be interested to know too!!! xxxx

I've had similar pains since giving birth, my lo is now 8 weeks. I thought I may be bruised from where I had stretch and sweep and inspections. At the hospital they were very rough and seemed to be actively trying to hit me there as hard as they could with their thumbs (sorry tmi).
