I'm glad I'm not the only one with this pain!

I just need to moan though as for the past 2 days the pain has got worse and worse. It used to only happen when sitting on the loo or standing up, but now it's continual. It's worse in the evening but omg it's so bad I can't sit, I have to waddle everywhere it's not good!!

Until Tues morning I was taking pain relief called diclofenac (sp) that the hospital gave me. But when I asked my GP for more she dismissed it and told me I should never have been given it in the first place and to keep takng paracetemol!! Now I'm no doctor but I'm having to take numerous paracetemol for headaches, this pain etc and it's not doing anything! Surely it's not safe to keep taking silly amounts of paracetemol for weeks.

how is your pain going now.
gosh mine has got worse the past 2 days and today it hurts to stand up. the pushing really does help.
it hurts more than the episiotomy wound the had broken down.
im seeing the midwife again on wed so will mention it to her but she is pretty useles so doubt she will be able to help.

I'm sorry yours has got worse, mine got so bad I couldn't stand, I found lying in bed with a pillow between my legs helped, random I know but I gave constant pressure.

I went back to see a different doctor, who prescribed me more strong painkillers, once I explained I was taking silly amounts of anadin etc to help.

It still really hurts when I go to the toilet, maybe I'm a wimp but it makes me cry a bit sometimes!!

I really hope it's a bit better once the painkillers run out or I'm in trouble! I'm doing my pelvic floor like mad in case it helps!!

I think I had this, the way I was trying to describe it was as if someone had tied a bit of string around me and was pulling tight! It was pretty painful but I figured must'vebeen something to do with bloodflow!I had 2 2nd degree tears but mines gone now an my LO is 12 weeks x

Im so relieved to be reading this thread...
I had this REALLY BAD right after the birth for at least 3 months... I still get it on the rare occasion but nothing like before.
So weird that someone compared it to feeling like a let down, only down there, because thats exactly what I thought too! ha!
