Eeyore my LO is three and a half weeks now and I too and feeling SOOO much better. I still have my ups and downs and it is still hard but I am starting to feel like 'me' again. I really wish someone had warned me about the first two weeks. The hardest weeks of my life, I just thought I was not cut out to be a mum! I know there is a long way still to go but it is a relief that things are starting to get a little easier.

Thanks for the two new comments. LO is now 4 weeks and 4 days and it is easier. Weather is such a bummer though, but did manage to walk to shops today. Yesterday was hell as she was having a growning spurt and it was munch munch all day with NO let up! today is much better though.

Yes, no-one tells you just how bad it is and like many of you have gone from working full time and sleeping normal hours to this. I think the sleep deprivation is the worst, but with no end in sight. I used to go away for work overseas. Get up, work the day, be awake until 2am to get flight, which was 8 hours, and not feel this bad. That was sometimes 30 hours awake straight - but because I knew that bed was in sight and I could sleep for a day straight it was so much less painful!

OH went back to work today and thought it would be a crying nightmare, but it isn't (yet!). Have been talking to her all day and we went out and she's now back to sleep. I got some sleep and will get a bit more in a moment, but it is so much easier now.

I too am spreading the word, and how anyone manages to have more than one is beyond me. Utterly crazy!!
