2nd degree tear stitches &bleeding

how long does it take for them to heal?????

also how long did it take for your bleeding to stop after having baby? xxx

They stopped hurting a guess after about 3 weeks. I still got the odd like stinging pain until he was roughly 3 months old.

As for bleeding I stopped at 3 weeks for 3/4 days then it came back for 2 weeks x

I was lucky and the pain went after about a week - unless i had done a lot of walking or moving about then they did twinge a bit.

I stopped bleeding and discharge after 4 weeks but for the last week of that it wasn't that heavy.

mine hurt for 2 and a half weeks, then they suddenly got better. they were worse before they improved though, I would wake in the morning in pain and have to sit in a cool bath.

bleeding lasted a month. towards the end there'd be nothing for a couple of days at a time, then it would start again. just spotting. the proper bleeding flowed for maybe a week.

The worst of the pain was over after a week. It really helped that I sat in warm water with lavendar or used shower head about 4-5 times a day every day. It was very soothing.

My post natal bleeding last about 5 weeks. Period started 3 weeks after that.

Pain after the tear lasted about 2 weeks - arnica tablets and lavendar oil baths really helped. Bleeding for me lasted about 5 weeks.

Pain and tear stopped hurting around 2.5 weeks, bleeding stopped at 3.5 weeks, then started a week later for another two weeks.
