Pain

Hi ladies, am so fed up, suffered with SPD throughout my pregnancy so badly that i finished work early and had to use crutches all the time. My baby girl is 14 weeks now and the pain still hasn't gone. I have been refered to physio by my doctor but i just feel so down, i'm sick of being in pain. Is anyone else suffering this so long after birth? Also i have been getting pains like when i was pregnant and baby's head was engaging, like a sharp pain which takes my breath away. I'm soooo fed up!

Ps, hope i'm ok to post this here wasn't sure if it was here or postnatal section xx

It's normal to have pelvic pain for months after labour. If you had SPD before then I'm afraid it's likely you'll have it a while after. I saw a physio about my abdominal muscles and she told me it takes a long time for the pelvis to toughen up again and if you are BF it is unlikely to do so until you have finished. I BF til 8 months and now at almost 12 I still get weird pelvic pain. I didn't even have SPD! I know it sucks but eventually it'll settle back to normal. The physio will help I'm sure.
