hi all

looking for some advice please as i've had lots of infections after having a c section and i'm currently getting over a bladder and kidney infection

i'm staying with my mum this weekend as because i was so ill she offered to do the night feed last night so i expressed for a bottle, fed her at 12am then mum fed her at 5ish then i woke at 8am with my boobs feeling like they wanted to explode...so i went 8 hours without feeding which i normally feed every 3hrs and then 4-5hr during the night....
This morning i started bleeding again...is it because i wasnt feeding her or something??? so confused i hope its not another infection

any advice would be great please

I know that 6 hours is sometimes the 'trigger' time for women to get thier period back and/or return to fertility, I wonder if this isn't bleeding, but a period. If you think it might be an infection, seeing your GP is probably a good idea. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

i hope its not another infection....i'm on my 5th set of antibotics since having her at the moment....i just wanna feel better!

anyone else bled a lot after their section and been breastfeeding??

My section was just over 4 wks ago and I've started bleeding again - GP doesn't think it's an infection although it can be bright red and heavy some days

Mine is worse after I've fed him or am expressing or ahem...after sex

I'm still having periods of red bleeds too, my GP said as long as I was not in any pain and didn't have a temperature he didn't think it was an infection.

But why would we be bleeding? I am taking the mini pill now, breastfeeding and taking antibotics for kidney infection.so why would I be bleeding? So stressed with it all its been one thing after another and i'm gutted I keep getting ill and having to take antibotics all the time x
