Blood loss?

Hiya, i just want some insight please.

I gave birth 4 weeks ago and for the 1st week i bled quite heavily but after that it was light, an i was about to stop using a pad last week because it had more or less gone...but 2 days ago it's started again, really heavy bleading and still is...im wondering could this be my REAL period? i find it strange that i had nearly finished then all of a sudden im back to square one.

I've tried ringing my midwife but she never answers

Thankyou for any help xXx

It could very well be. If you are worried I would suggest speaking to your GP.

I had something simular with Beau. I spotted almost constantly from the end of my postnatal bleed till my first period. I asked and was told it was to do with my hormone levels at the time. After my first period it settled down and I got another period around 31 days later.

See our GP hun just to be sure as everyone is different
