TMI but for those who had c section

How long did you bleed for and was it consistent. I had mine on oct 19th i have barely had much blood it was red than turned brown as if it was end of period than it started red again than again died out to brown etc is this normal? I know i should bleed for about 6 weeks but will it continue to die out and start up red again or should i call the nurse line. I know everything i read says it could be sign of infection of its red but im going through maybe a pad a day and i dont feel horrible other than the slight pain by my belly button but im still healing so im sure thats normal. I have also been on my feet since the day after taking care of babes and cleaning and such so it could just be me doing to much.

I had a c-section in August and I bled heavily for about two weeks, then it tapered off (mini-liner kind of flow) for another two weeks or so, so I had a month total of bleeding. During the last two weeks, I occasionally had a day or so of a heavier flow, but it always generally got less.

I think that you have to pay more attention to any bleeding/heat/pus/smell from the incision itself.

I had a section 4 and a half weeks ago and i stopped bleeding last week. By then it was very light. I am now getting proper period cramps so looks like my cycle is kicking straight back in just as it did with my other kids

I was the same hun.. As soon as it died down to just spotting, it'd start up really heavy again, done this a few times. It confused me as to whether it was AF coming or lochia still or what. I had a few clots too but was told as long as they're small, it's fine.

I had C-section on 27th October and my bleeding has been similar. Pretty light, filling only about a pad a day, but occasional heavier or redder bleeding. My wound seems to be healing up perfectly and I don't have any pain to speak of so I think it's normal.

I had a c-section 4 weeks ago and just stopped spotting yesterday. I bleed heavily for only 3 days and then it was all spotting till yesterday. My doctor told me that he sucked all that stuff out pretty good, so I wouldn't bleed that much.

i bled for 6weeks - but stoped about wk 4 then started again - midwife said this is a sign that i was doing to much - you should take it more steady (easier said than done tho eh)
