Baby blues

Urgh, looks like the dreaded "baby blues" have kicked in....someone please tell me this goes away fast!

I feel so bloody mopey. I can't even be arsed to eat my dinner.

I think it's a combination of the weather, hormones, the fact that the guy I love has a girlfriend, I feel fat and ugly, I feel like no bloke will ever want me, I'm broke, I'm tired.....god, what I wouldn't give for a nice bloke to just get in bed with me and give me an all night cuddle

You have a beautiful little man that loves you with all his heart.

I was weepy for a couple of weeks afterwards. A simple task like finding time to brush my teeth seemed to be like a military operation and take half a morning. But things do get easier and your mood should pick up. Enjoy your time with your special little man and worry about finding a bloke later, nobody feels attractive after giving birth, I've only just started to let DH near me with the lights on

I had the baby blues myself the first 2 weeks. I have noticed that this week it seems to be getting a lot better. Hang in there it will get better in time.

By the way your boy is lovely!

Ahh hun, bless you...hope your mood picks up soon

I have had a good cry every day since Oscar was born, every time someone asks me if i'm okay, it just sets me off!!

I feel so daft when I cry though, because I feel sooo happy? but my god I feel like I could flood somewhere or drown in my own tears...hoping it passes soon as its not a good look and DP thinks i'm depressed!
