BF Moms only please

I exclusively BF LO about 7-8 times a day. I've heard it can take as long as a 14 months to get a period again. What have your experiences been?

When we went onto combi feeding I had light spotting for a couple of hours. I literally noticed the spotting had a few cramps, expressed and it went away again.

Mine came back when I dropped down to just 2 feeds a day (morning and night) when my son was about 9 months and was more or less weaned onto solids.

My son is 7 months and I havn't had one yet. I only had one with my daughter about 6 months, but my periods are pretty all over the place anyway, I've only had about 10 since 2005

I have always breastfed Honor every 2 hours from birth during the day and at least twice during the night and I got my first period 9 weeks after giving birth.

Darwin is over 10 months, eating two solid meals and a snack so he's BF less, and I still see no sign of the wicked witch
