No AF...help please x

I am 14weeks PP and i have had the bleeding at first....then i got my first AF on the 24th august.
I had my coil fitted on the 9th september.
Then 2nd AF around the same time as i had the coil fitted.
So they are still a little messed up.

The problem is,i had a bleed 2 days ago,well,only when i wiped actually but it was bright red blood but only a bit as it was streaked in like jelly like stuff

Looked alot like when i had my 'Show' iykwim?

Well i thought it could be my AF but i have had no bleeding since.

So no sign of AF and im starting to worry as this would make my AF late wouldnt it?
Or can they still be pretty irregular at this point?

Advice would be great x

When I was talking to my doctor about the coil she said you don't always have a period with it? I don't know which one you got, there's one with a mini pill in it and one without. I'm not too knowledgeable on this though hun.

Well I have a Mirena and my period comes on the exact day it is supposed to, BUT it is so scant I only have to wear a pantyliner for like 2-3 days.. and it can take it away totally. A lot of people with IUDs say they get random bleeds like for 1 day here and there or spotting also ??

I have the copper IUD and DR said that it would make my periods last longer,more painfull and heavier so god knows

Sorry don't have much advice, but i've had irregular periods since giving birth!

Is a copper IUD the same thing as a mirena coil?
Im going to be getting the mirena coil put in once OH's benefits kick in..

My OB told me it would give me lighter periods, and less cramps... but the "bad" side effect from it is you can spot on and off for up to 6 months of it being put in.

Im not sure if this helps, but just thought Id throw it in there...

I just got my copper coil fitted yesterday, and my doctor said that since I havent' had AF since the birth of my LO, things could be wonky for a while, but that they'd eventually straighten out. Maybe it is the same for you, even though you did have AF???

Though it might help to call your doctor - the clot could just be normal AF stuff, or maybe it isn't - I don't know, but it wouldn't hurt to ask! Good luck!
