ok now im worried! help please tmi!

oh my god...

This is tmi sorry!

Iv just been in the shower, i dont have a bath so to keep it clean down there [ i had a 2nd degree tear without stitches] i use the shower head but crouch down iykwim. Anyway it was fine for about a week and half, but past couple of days its been so sore when i do it.. but it looks healed in the mirror [i think?!!]. it stung like soo much

Anyway, i had a feel for the first time, and theres loads of lumps and bumps inside , and now im panicking sooo much! OH wont look hes being a complete knob tbh, he looked after i had my daughter and i had a epsiotomy then!! he wont look just to put my mind at rest and its really getting to me.

i asked him to look a min ago and he said "im not looking at ur big gapping hole"!! im so upset, i mean he watched our two kids come into the world!!

anyway im quite sore down there.. it has only been 19days like, but im so worried. Shall i go docs on friday to get checked? or is it normally like that sorry lol

Can't help you hon , but if it's really sore and you're worried I'd see the doctor .
I would have flipped if my husband had said that to me .

I had lumps and bumps for ages. I do think it's best to get checked out though hun, even for piece of mind. Doctors come across these things every day so there's no need to be worried about asking them what's normal and what's not. If they feel they need to check you out, then atleast you know you did the right thing x

My OH refused to look 'down there' for a while after my episiotomy. He said it would look "like a butchers window display"

I'd definitely get checked out though, just in case. As toria said, they see that kind of thing on a daily basis.

I'd get it checked just to put your mind at rest and if there's anything wrong then it can be sorted out sooner rather than leaving it.

I had a section but I have heard a few girls mention to pour water/spray water on your sorebits (sorry ) as this dilutes the urine taking the sting out. Alternatively if you have time (which with a 19 day old cutie im sure its limited) wee in the shower with the shower head down there xx

I didn't have bumps....that I know of...but I wanted to say
you are brave for looking, I also was stitched up there, and I got goosebumps just thinking about looking, I wouldn't even touch the area with my bare hands.

I had bumps "in there" too, spoke to my doc cause i was worried and he said it was scar tissue.
I also had an episiotomy, forceps delivery. I did not start to feel back to normal down there till about 8 weeks post natal.
Give it time it will get better.
xx
